Why I like it
I haven’t actually read many books by Stephen King, but this one is a deeply impactful writing memoir. His insights on writing are so powerful that after each chapter, I had to take a break, reflect, and then go back to my own novel to make sure I wasn’t making the mistakes he warned about.

《盜火戰記》 is a long-form fantasy novel I’m currently writing. The story takes place in a medieval world where magic beans serve as the foundation of both the economy and magic. Humans consume these beans to harness magic, giving noble families who can cultivate them control over both magical power and most resources. However, during the grand Magic Bean Harvest Festival, the Salwen family’s bean fields are stolen…
